Since before I could even walk I was already dancing, later on I started practicing both classical ballet and modern dance. The thing I love most about dancing is how you can get lost in movement, forget about the day and how your emotions get carried away through music and movement. In 2009 I started studying and quit dancing on a regular basis, I sporadically joined Pilates and Yoga classes but after a while I started to miss the passion I found in dance. It wasn’t until 2015 that my love for yoga really unfolded. I remember the first day I walked into the saktiisha studio and how I immediately felt at home there. In that same year I started the Yoga Foundation Training followed by the Personal Development training. Through yoga I experienced my love for dancing on a deeper level; the integration of knowledge about the physical body in combination with a more philosophical approach while moving the body and learning to fully be present in the moment. My passion for yoga fired up through these trainings and since I love teaching and sharing my knowledge and energy, becoming a yoga teacher was an inevitable next step. Throughout my classes you can expect a blend of the following ingredients: down-to-earth and spiritual, flow and gentle, passionate and calm.
